Gold, silver and bronze for City College students CITY College Plymouth painting and decorating students have excelled at a national competition, securing gold, silver and bronze. Syd Dart, lecturer at City College Plymouth, said: "Skillbuild is one of the most prestigious competitions in the country that students may enter, and it allows them the chance to demonstrate their abilities and highlight their outstanding skills in painting and decorating. The successful students were Daniel Saltmarsh, aged 17, from Plymouth and Jenny Sibley, 19, from Tavistock, who were awarded gold and bronze in the senior category, respectively and Kaine Withers, 18, from Plymouth, who was awarded silver in the new entrant category. "They have all worked extremely hard to prepare for this competition and for each one of them to leave the venue with a medal after the contest is a fantastic achievement, and we all are very proud of them.
